Winter Trails and Wildlife Tour
For those interested in experiencing all Yellowstone’s Northern Range has to offer, this is the perfect option. Spend the morning wildlife watching, then escape the roadside crowds by joining your naturalist guide in snowshoes or cross-country skiing in Yellowstone’s gorgeous snow-covered wilderness.
Please be prepared to be outside the vehicle for varying lengths of time while wildlife watching. This may include some walking on raised wooden or dirt/gravel or snow-covered trails. Layered clothing is highly recommended as the weather in Yellowstone National Park can change rapidly. Winter guests should plan to bring appropriate sun, wind, & rain protection to maintain comfort throughout the day. Warm, waterproof boots are highly recommended for all snowshoe touring in the park.

Half-Day Snowshoe or Cross-Country Skiing Tour
Get out & explore Yellowstone’s beauty on snowshoes or cross-country skis. In Yellowstone’s north entrance, Mammoth Hot Springs Village is surrounded by pristine winter wonderland trails ready for exploration! Half-days are best for those short on time or looking to get on the trails with one of our experienced naturalist guides.

Showshoeing
Take to the snow and explore Paradise Valley on foot. Your snowshoe excursion is is self-guided and includes rental equipment for up to eight hours. Transportation is not included. On-property tours conditions dependent.
